Andreas Eberhardt, born in Vienna in 1964, has cultivated a rich expertise in bodywork and trauma resolution modalities over the years. Beginning in 2008, he delved into Ortho-Bionomy under the tutelage of Arthur Lincoln Pauls MD, an approach rooted in osteopathy that focuses on facilitating the body’s innate healing capacity.
Since 2010, Andreas has been actively involved in Somatic Experiencing, a trauma resolution technique pioneered by Dr. Peter Levine PhD. This method emphasizes understanding and addressing the body’s responses to past traumatic events, fostering healing through embodied awareness.
From 2013 onward, Andreas has served as an assistant to Dr. Sonia Gomez PhD, immersing himself in her SOMA work. SOMA uniquely integrates emotional and physiological aspects of embodiment, particularly addressing developmental disorganization.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Andreas’s personal philosophy is deeply intertwined with Tibetan Buddhism, shaping his approach to his work. His practice is founded upon the ethics and mindfulness principles inherent in Tibetan Buddhism, enriching his therapeutic approach with compassion, mindfulness, and a holistic view of healing.
With an extensive background spanning over two decades, Andreas has expertise in treating those seeking deeper insights into their body and personal well-being. It extends to unraveling the intricate connections between our physical and emotional selves, particularly in addressing trauma that impacts the nervous system. Andreas specializes in guiding individuals through a journey of self-discovery and healing, empowering them to understand their bodies better and navigate the restoration of emotional and physical balance with grace and expertise.
